Let me reintroduce myself!

What’s up world?! So excited to be back blogging and sharing my life’s adventures, thoughts, shenanigans and discussing various topics that I hope we can all relate to in this journey called life. I previously blogged on Blue Crush Travel, a personal blog that highlighted my travels in the U.S., Europe and my crush of a region… the Caribbean! It originated way back when growing up and falling in love with reggae music of the legendary Bob Marley. One of my favorite trips was on the Marley ‘Jamrock Reggae Cruise’. I’ve only been once and hope to go back again! The vibe was all that you’d expect it to be. People from all over the world jammin’ to reggae and my, my, my was it FUN and profoundly high energy!!

My life has changed so much since I last wrote during the pandemic, but I’m very excited about blogging again. Writing is therapeutic to me, almost as much as laying on the beach in my ‘living my best life’ mode on this beautiful island I call home, feelin’ irie and free, embracing my next chapter in life. 😉

The Leo in me believes in love, but quite honestly and as I reflect back, my alpha tendencies can only be matched with the right man who I know I can be co-pilot to. Probably an alpha male too, minus the arrogance. 😄 Bald & affectionate, ✔️… intelligent, ✔️… adventurous, ✔️– the list goes on and on 😄 🤣. Cousins, hold me to this because if not, I’d be settling. 😄

I’m a returning local but I lived in Texas for over 20 years before coming back home to Hawai’i. I left for college and graduated from UTA. However, if there is anything I learned most in life, it’s to never say never, but at this time I have no desire to live on the mainland again. Visit yes, but not live. Home is where I’m at and it’s definitely where the heart is. It’s crazy because I had so many fond memories growing up and a great upbringing but when it came down to college, I knew I wanted to go away and do my own thing. I still came home throughout the years but since moving back I couldn’t be happier.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out for tips or advice if you plan a visit or considering a move to the Hawaiian islands. It’s definitely not for everyone, but can be if you are open to our way of life and the culture and people. The same applies for a local transitioning to a state in the South, not for everyone for sure! I’ll definitely be covering this in a future blog post.

I’m glad you found me and I hope you enjoy my blog. I’m normally a private person but one of my closest cousins talked me into getting back on Instagram so I’m definitely considering it.

ALOHA and XO!!
